Radiant Radiology offers Ultrasound Guided Breast Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) as part of our specialised women’s imaging services. This minimally invasive procedure is performed with precision imaging guidance to assess breast lumps or abnormalities quickly and accurately.
The procedure is carried out in a private clinical setting by our experienced radiologist using real-time ultrasound guidance. After cleaning the area, a very fine needle is carefully inserted into the targeted area while being continuously monitored on ultrasound.
The sample collection takes only a few minutes and is generally well tolerated. Our team ensures patient comfort throughout the procedure, and clear post-procedure instructions are provided before you leave.
At Radiant Radiology, particularly at our Women’s Imaging Centre in Pimpama, we combine advanced imaging with compassionate care to support early detection and confident clinical decision-making.
