How We Perform Your CT Coronary Angiography
Your CTCA is performed using our advanced multi-slice CT technology in a controlled, monitored setting. Prior to the scan, your heart rate may be assessed and, if required, medication administered to optimise image quality.
During the procedure, contrast dye is carefully injected through a small IV line to clearly visualise the coronary arteries. The scan itself is fast, typically completed within minutes, while capturing highly detailed cardiac images.
